Walt Disney World Resort is offering room-only discounts at its official on-site properties over several months in 2011. These discounts, available to members of the general public, provide savings on regular room rates of between 15% and 40%. These Walt Disney World Resort discounts are valid on select dates of travel between April and October 2011.

Walt Disney World Hotel Room Discounts for April – June 2011
Disney guests planning a 2011 late spring or early summer vacation to Walt Disney World may save up to 35% on select Disney Resort hotels. These room-only discounts are valid for most nights between April 16 and June 14, 2011. Rooms must be booked between January 3 – March 27, 2011.
The percentage discounts on rooms vary by dates of travel, Disney resort category, and type of room booked. The following Walt Disney World hotel discounts apply to non-discounted rates (rack rates):
- All Star Movies Resort: 15% off
- Select Disney Value Resorts or Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter: 20% off
- Select Disney Moderate Resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodge or Polynesian Resort: 25% off
- Select Disney Deluxe Resorts: 30% off
- Select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts: 35% off.
Walt Disney World Hotel Room Discounts for August – October 2011
Guests planning a late summer or early fall 2011 trip to Walt Disney World may receive discounts of up to 40% on regular room rates at select Disney Resort hotels. Disney’s late summer-early fall special offer is valid for most nights of travel between August 14 and October 1, 2011 and must be booked by March 27, 2011.

As with the late spring-early summer 2011 offer, Disney discounts vary by percentage and resort, and are subject to availability and applied to rack rates:
- All Star Movies Resort: 20% off
- Select Disney Value Resorts or Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter: 25% off
- Select Disney Moderate Resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodge or Polynesian Resort: 30% off
- Select Disney Deluxe Resorts: 35% off
- Select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts: 40% off.
Guests booking a room-only discount at Walt Disney World may choose to add Magic Your Way theme park tickets and/or or a Magic Your Way Plus Dining to upgrade to a Disney vacation package. Note that doing so affects Disney’s payment and cancellation terms.

Booking Information on Walt Disney World Special Offers
Guests need to make advance reservations to take advantage of Walt Disney World hotel room-only discounts. Walt Disney World special offers for hotels may have block-out dates and a minimum length of stay might be in effect for Friday or Saturday night arrivals. The number of rooms available at these saving is limited, and Disney does not guarantee a discount is available for a particular date or resort.
Both these Disney discounts exclude suites and three-bedrooms. If a travel party consists of more than two adults in a room at a Disney Value Resort, Disney Moderate Resort or Disney Deluxe Resort, extra per-night charges apply. Disney does not permit the doubling up of discounts, so group rates or other discounts may not be used in conjunction with these offers.
Guests seeking the best Disney discounts for their travel situations also should be aware that Walt Disney World released its “Free Dining Dates” for theme-park vacation travel through Sept. 29, 2011.
