Discount Disney tickets are available to Disneyland Resort's theme parks, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. Here are 2010 Disney discounts.

In addition to annual passes and special offers to Southern California residents, Disneyland Resort regularly offers ticket discounts for admission to its two theme parks, Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. These discount Disneyland tickets can equal sizeable savings for non-local Disney guests who travel to Anaheim to its Disney theme parks.

What’s distinct about these Disney discounts, as opposed to Walt Disney World, Disneyland’s sister resort in Orlando, is that Disneyland Resort frequently offers ticket-only discounts to attract non-local visitors. The only catch? The tickets need to be ordered online through the Disneyland website. They are not available at the Disneyland ticket booths.

Here are Disneyland Resort’s 2010 ticket discounts and special offers. Readers may also be interested in learning more about 2011 discount tickets to Disneyland.

Seasonal Deals – Buy a Disneyland Park Hopper Ticket, Receive Two Days Free

Disneyland offers discounts on ticket for guests who visit from late spring through early fall. Guests may purchase a 5-Day Park Hopper Ticket for the price of three days, receiving two days free. Alternately, guests may purchase a 6-Day Park Hopper for the price of four days, receiving two days free.

Disneyland Park Hopper tickets allow guests to move between the original Disneyland theme park and Disney’s California Adventure. Included with these Disneyland tickets is one Magic Morning Admission that allows guests early entry a designated theme park on select days.

These tickets are valid for visits between May 1, 2010 and Sept. 30, 2010, and must be purchased by Sept. 1, 2010. They will expire 13 days after first use or Oct. 13, 2010, whichever comes first.

2010 Disneyland Park Hopper Bonus Tickets

Disneyland is also offering discounts on Park Hopper Bonus Tickets, which are valid through Jan. 3, 2011. Ticket savings vary by visit length. Disney guests may save up to

  • $20 per person on a 3-Day Park Hopper ticket;
  • $30 per person on a 4-Day Park Hopper ticket; or
  • $40 per person on a 5-Day or 6-Day Park Hopper ticket.

These tickets also offer one Magic Morning Admission for early entry.

About Magic Morning Admission: Magic Morning allows guests to experience some of the popular attractions at the Disneyland theme park before it opens to the general public. Magic Morning is currently available on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday, and allows guests access to rides in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Disney recommends guests who take advantage of Magic Morning Admission arrive at least one hour and fifteen minutes before regular park hours.

Disney guests can buy these discount tickets through the official Disneyland Resort tickets and reservations website. There, they may examine other discounts or special offers, such as annual passes or options for Southern California residents (if applicable).

For guests who want to stay at an official Disneyland Resort hotel while on their trip, Disney also offers deals on Disneyland vacation packages (2010) that include room and tickets. Guests who prefer to save money on accommodations but still like the perks associated with a trip to the “happiest place on Earth” might consider staying at one of Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels, which are evaluated and approved by Disney.
