Guests can buy legitimate discount tickets to Florida theme parks, including Walt Disney World, Universal, and SeaWorld from these places.

Admission to popular Florida attractions is expensive. There are several Disney World discounts for select groups, as well as group-membership discounts for other attractions. But what if someone doesn’t qualify for those? Another option for purchasing discount theme-park tickets is ticket wholesalers.

Discounts for Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld Tickets

Wholesalers offer discounts for Disney’s Magic Your Way multi-day and park hopper tickets, Universal Studios passes, SeaWorld tickets, and Orlando Flex Tickets. The savings vary with the theme park, type of base ticket, and any add-ons. Ticket savings varies from a few dollars – usually between 4 and 8 percent off the regular price for major attractions – to heavy discounts.

Using a ticket wholesaler can be a good alternative for travelers. People who plan to visit more than one theme park and those traveling in families or large groups, might find using a wholesaler particularly useful. Wholesaler ticket representatives are familiar with ticket structure and pricing for various area attractions and can offer advice for travel planners trying to understand their admission options.

Wholesalers Sell Tickets to Many Orlando and Central-Florida Attractions

Wholesalers generally offer tickets to the following attractions (not an exhaustive list):

  • Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
  • Cirque Du Soleil
  • Medieval Times Dinner & Show
  • Discovery Cove
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom
  • Walt Disney World’s Epcot
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • Disney’s Magic Kingdom
  • Islands of Adventure
  • Kennedy Space Center
  • SeaWorld Orlando
  • Universal Studios Florida
  • Wet ‘n Wild Orlando

Choosing an Online Ticket Sales Company

Choose a company officially authorized to sell discounted tickets. For convenience, also pick a company that offers online and phone support, advance sales, and pickup and delivery options.

The following companies have been recommended by travel authorities who specialize in Florida theme-park travel, including Bob Sehlinger’s The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World; The DIS, a Walt Disney World online travel site with a large internet community devoted to Disney; AllEars.net, a Disney trip-planning website, and Mary Waring’s Mousesavers, the Disney savings e-newsletter.

Kissimmee Guest Services

Kissimmee Guest Services (KGS) offers a lowest-price guarantee and instant processing for tickets purchased for pickup. If ordered at least two weeks in advance, there is a $10 shipping fee for U.S. advance sales, $20 for sales to the U.K. and Canada. (All prices provided are in U.S. dollars.) KGS has partnered with AllEars.net and ALL STAR Vacation Homes to offer discounts to users of those services. KGS also occasionally provides an e-coupon promotional code on their website.

Maple Leaf Tickets

Maple Leaf Tickets (MLT) permits purchasing tickets in advance or on arrival. Its prices include tax and there are no hidden fees. Shipping is available for $6.95 via U.S. Priority Mail, the same price for ticket delivery to Orlando-area hotels. Priority shipping to Canada or the U.K. is $12.

The “Official” Ticket Center

Prices for the “Official” Ticket Center (OTC) include tax, and there are no hidden fees. OTC will ship tickets to either a person’s home via USPS for $8 or to an Orlando-area hotel for $10. Free pickup is also available. OTC is recommended by The DIS, which offers a promotional code for the wholesaler’s services.

Undercover Tourist

Undercover Tourist (UT) features ticket prices with tax included. Their services include free, regular shipping to residents of the U.S., Canada, U.K. and several other European countries. They also offer free ticket pickup. UT also works with Mousesavers to offer its subscribers an additional discounts.

Warning About Buying Discount and Used Tickets

Wholesale ticket companies are authorized and contracted to buy new tickets in bulk and resell them. Many ticket sellers operating small kiosks in the Orlando area who offer deep discounts or free tickets are not wholesalers, but associated with timeshare presentations. Also, the resale of used tickets is illegal.

Ticket wholesalers offer people the opportunity to purchase new, discount tickets to popular Florida attractions. They may not offer clearance-rate prices. But their tickets are legitimate and with theme-park prices, even a modest savings adds up quickly. Buying tickets from a reputable company is a solid strategy for saving money on admission.

Nice article. It's really hard to find authentic tickets dealer. I hope this article will show the right direction to all those looking for discount tickets but lost in the myriad of ticket brokers.Personally I have the experience of buying tickets with The Official Ticket Center and their prices are 100 percent tax inclusive

We used Kissimmee Guest Services for our last vacation. Not only did they save us money and waits in line at the park to purchase but their staff was super friendly. We got tips on avoiding the crowds and saving more money and great directions to avoid the traffic. Our children loved the kids area with the Disney movies and all the plushies, great for taking pics.
