Disney's Tables in Wonderland program can offer substantial Disney dining discounts for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Florida residents.

Walt Disney World (WDW) offers guests the opportunity to save money on Disney Dining with its Tables in Wonderland card. Tables in Wonderland (TIW) is a membership program available to WDW’s Annual Passholders and Florida residents.

TIW, which used to be called the Disney Dining Experience prior to 2008, offers a 20% discount on food and beverage at participating restaurants and bars in the WDW theme parks, Disney Resorts and at Downtown Disney. Guests pay an annual fee to be members of TIW, which provides a Disney discount dining card.

Benefits of Disney Dining with Tables in Wonderland program

The most obvious benefit of TIW is the 20% discount on all food and beverage purchases, including alcohol, at more than 70 participating Walt Disney World restaurants and lounges. This discount is valid for up to 10 guests on the same TIW card on the same check.

The savings on Disney meal outweighs the cost of TIW membership for many guests who dine at table-service restaurants, especially some of Disney’s pricier dining options, or those who drink alcohol during meals. Guests who enjoy a full dining experience, from appetizer through dessert, will find the savings add up quickly.

TIW members also receive free parking at the Disney theme parks after 5 p.m. Guests who arrive at a park before 5 p.m. may be reimbursed by taking their TIW cards and dining receipts to Guest Relations. Parking at the Disney Resorts is also complimentary, as is valet parking; for the latter, simply show the dining receipt to the parking attendant.

As an added benefit, TIW hosts several events throughout the year that are only open to members. These events provide Disney foodies with exclusive dining experiences. Past events have included special holiday meals (e.g. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day); meals showcasing particular restaurants or Disney attractions; and dinners themed to a food or wine experience. These events, and other information, are announced in the newsletter that TIW members receive.

Restrictions on Walt Disney World’s Tables in Wonderland

There are some restrictions on the TIW members and the card’s use.

  • The TIW program member must be present at the meal and present the card upon ordering.
  • TIW is only good for up to 10 guests on the same check. Larger parties with more than one TIW membership may split the group into two checks to ensure all meals are covered by the discount.
  • TIW discounts may not be combined with other discounts, and TIW discounts may not be combined if the dining party has more than one card.
  • TIW is not good for dining packages (e.g. Fantasmic! Dining Package, Candlelight Processional Dining Package, or events held during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival).
  • An 18% gratuity is added to all checks at table-service restaurants with the exception of Victoria & Albert’s, which adds a 20% gratuity. There is no gratuity added at counter-service restaurants.
  • Participating TIW restaurants are subject to change.

Restrictions are also in effect during holidays and special events, as TIW does have blockout dates. TIW discounts are not available on major holidays, with the exception of TIW-hosted events: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Also worth noting is that TIW does not include admission to the Walt Disney World theme parks.

How to Join Disney’s Tables in Wonderland Membership Program

TIW currently costs $100 for Florida Residents and $75 for Disney Annual Passholders. A second TIW card may be added for spouses or partners for $50. Again, this is an annual fee.

In order to join TIW, guests must have a valid Florida driver's license or state-issued ID card or a Disney Annual or Seasonal Pass. TIW is available to guests 21 years and older.
